Vintage Pair of Neoclassical Ewers

This is a stunning pair of highly decorative antique or vintage ewers, showcasing the opulence and classical inspiration of the Neoclassical Revival style, likely dating somewhere between the early 20th century to the mid-century. Crafted from cast brass with an aged finish, each ewer features extraordinary relief detailing. The intricately scrolled handles are topped by a detailed putto (cherub or youth figure), while the body of the vessel is adorned with a standing allegorical female figure surrounded by rich foliage and classical ornamentation. Standing on an ornate pedestal base and finished with an elegant, elongated spout, these vessels were designed purely as decorative accents, perfect for serving as a dramatic garniture set on a mantelpiece, a sophisticated addition to a bookcase, or a focal point in a Hollywood Regency, Victorian, or Grand Tour-inspired interior. The pieces display a beautiful, warm patina consistent with their age, adding depth and authentic antique charm to their elaborate design.

Disclosures: Patina present on both Ewers consistent with vintage to antique age. Unknown maker. One of the ewers has a slight tilt that is quite difficult to noticed without close thorough inspection. No major flaws to note.

SHIPPING
As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
