Vintage Signed Stag and Floral Garland Intaglio Print, Dated 1994

This is a beautiful and highly decorative piece of original contemporary printmaking, featuring a central reclining stag nestled within a theatrical and detailed Baroque Revival floral garland.

The print is an intaglio print (likely an etching or drypoint), characterized by the fine, linear detail and the visible impression mark from the metal plate. The elaborate ornamentation of the surrounding wreath—complete with lush flowers, bows, and tassels—creates a dramatic contrast with the simply rendered stag at the center.

This artwork is hand-signed in pencil in the lower right corner and dated 1994. The signature is challenging to decipher, but it appears to read "T. Mitchell", "T. Mirdrell," or a very similar variation. The unique notation in the lower left is "J/P", which confirms this piece is a specialized Proof impression pulled before or outside of the standard numbered edition, making it a desirable collector's item. The print is handsomely presented in a classic gold-toned wood frame with matting, ready to display.

As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
