Vintage J. Fisher Signed Bronze Tiger Tray / Ashtray - Art Nouveau/Art Deco Wildlife Figural Dish

A beautifully detailed vintage bronze figural dish or ashtray featuring a powerful tiger on the prowl. The central relief depicts the tiger stealthily moving through tall grass and foliage, captured with a deep, rich texture and high detail.

The tray has an organic, undulating, leaf-like edge, which is a signature element of the Art Nouveau movement's focus on flowing, natural forms. The dark, aged patina gives the piece a wonderful antique character.

This is a well-known and highly collectible design, identified by the clear signature of J. Fisher cast into the front relief (visible near the tiger's tail). On other similar pieces, the reverse is sometimes stamped by the General Bronze Corporation, dating these trays to the 1940s-1950s.

This tray is in excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, natural dark patina commensurate with age. We have left the patina untouched to preserve its original aged appearance. The details of the tiger and foliage are crisp. (See photos for a detailed view of the patina, including the lighter areas where natural wear has occurred over time.)

SHIPPING
As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.

All photos are taken in natural light and we do not use any photo filters and do not perform and photo editing (other than basic photo cropping). Depending on your monitor settings, there may be subtle differences in color once you see your item in person.
