A beautiful and rare set of three graduating oval platters from the renowned English earthenware manufacturer, Till & Sons. Produced in Burslem, within Stoke-on-Trent, England between 1861 - 1890. These platters belong to the highly collectible "Venus" pattern.

Each platter features an elegant and intricate border design in a stunning flow blue-and-white color palette. A bold, dark blue chain-link motif with delicate floral and scrolling accents frames the central white well. The rich, deep cobalt blue creates a captivating contrast, characteristic of the classic Flow Blue style. The rims are delicately finished with a hand-painted gold accent, adding a touch of Victorian-era elegance.

This set includes three platters of varying sizes, perfect for creating a layered display or for serving. They are a true testament to the quality and artistry of a bygone era.

Excellent antique condition with a beautiful, natural crazing throughout the glaze, which is a common characteristic of earthenware of this age. Wear to the gold trim is visible, consistent with use over the past century.

These platters are ideal for collectors of antique earthenware, enthusiasts of Flow Blue, or anyone looking to add a piece of authentic English history to their home decor. While these pieces are best used for decorative purposes due to their age, they are a stunning and timeless addition to any collection or tablescape.
