Vintage Inoclay Blue-Green Trinket Box with Cameo and Floral Design

A beautiful little box with a gorgeous light blue and green tone. The listing photos are coming across more blue, but in person there is a soft green tone that adds great character to this lovely little storage box. The top of the box has an excellent cameo profile and a stunningly ornate floral pattern. The inside of the box is in great condition and has a black velvet base that is perfect for keeping your smalls safe. The box is in overall great condition with no major flaws to note. There is general wear consistent with vintage age, but no chips cracks or breaks. The sticker on the inside of the lid is worn, as shown in the listing photos, but legibly reads "Genuine Inoclay Handcrafted." This little box will make a perfect gift with or without jewelry and would be the perfect keepsake. Inoclay stone is created from a composite of ground gemstones, minerals (like alabaster), and resins. This piece is late mid-century in age as the incolay material was created in 1960 and became popular up until the 1980s.
