Each small shelf is supported by elegantly sweeping, sinuous wood brackets that add a graceful, organic architectural element to the lower half of the heavy frame.

The most captivating details of this frame are the intricate, hand-carved mythological creatures—resembling griffins, dragons, or classic grotesques—that anchor the upper left and right corners.
