The visual anchor of the group is The City of the Sainted King (1941) by Loyd Haberly, a beautifully bound volume from The Haberly Press in St. Louis. It features a striking red and cream cover adorned with heraldic lion and fleur-de-lis motifs, a black spine with gilt lettering, and unique woodcut-style illustrations inside.

    Complementing the bold red is a 1950 Popular Edition of Audubon’s Birds of America, published by Macmillan with an introduction by Ludlow Griscom. This volume is bound with a deep green spine and a captivating cover pattern that mimics the texture of woven feathers in earthy browns and creams, perfectly befitting its ornithological subject matter.

    Completing the trio is a vintage edition of Anna Sewell’s classic Black Beauty (copyright unknown), published by The Goldsmith Publishing Company. This copy features a burgundy cloth spine and a charming mustard-yellow board design with a repeating green floral diamond pattern. It bears the handwritten inscription of a previous owner, "Joseph Stenglein," on the front flyleaf, adding authentic vintage character.     Condition:
    Three out of four of the books are in good vintage condition with intact spines and pages. The third book, black beauty has some stress to the front board that in beginning to disconnect from the spine and the title page is ripped. Even with the flaws these books together make a statement perfect for display.
