Antique Pozzoni's Complexion Powder Box - Ornate Lightweight Brass Vanity Tin (c. 1912)

Made of lightweight brass (or brass-finish tin), this collectible features a highly detailed, embossed lid with the "Pozzoni's" name amidst elegant scrollwork—a style often associated with the company's patented design around 1912. Pozzoni's was an industry pioneer, credited with introducing one of the first successful decorative "vanity cases" in the 1890s to boost sales, making this a significant piece of antique packaging.

The box was originally used to hold loose face powder on a lady's dresser. Today, it serves as a unique trinket box or display piece.

Good Antique Condition with expected wear. The bottom base has a considerable dent, but this does not affect the stability, the function of the hinged lid, or the overall display aesthetic. The metal surface features a deep, aged patina/tarnish both inside and out.

As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
