Vintage Clear Glass Decorative Inkwell with Hinged Lid, Ornate Metalwork, and Grape Clasp

A beautiful and functional piece of writing history, this clear glass inkwell features a classic squat form designed for stability, perfect for dipping a quill or fountain pen. The thick, dome-shaped glass lid is secured by an ornate metal hinge, allowing for easy access while also helping to prevent ink evaporation. The front clasp is adorned with a bunch of grapes.

Decorative metal banding cinches the bottle at the base and neck, adding an elegant, finished touch that suggests a late 19th or early 20th-century aesthetic. The glass is clear and bright. SHIPPING
As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
