Antique Yellowware Nesting Mixing Bowls (Set of 2) with Embossed Shell Pattern

Add authentic farmhouse charm to your kitchen or display with this lovely set of two Antique American Yellowware Nesting Mixing Bowls. Dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, these stoneware bowls feature the classic, highly sought-after buff-to-pale-yellow clay body and a glossy, clear glaze. Each bowl is beautifully detailed with a distinctive, embossed band featuring a recurring stylized shell or fan pattern just beneath the rim, a popular decorative motif of the era. This graduating set is designed to nest perfectly, making them ideal for both use and display. They are a quintessential piece of Primitive, Rusticlodge, or Cottagecore decor, perfect for active baking, serving fruit, or simply adding a touch of rustic history to your kitchen shelves. The bowls are in wonderful antique condition with minor, expected signs of age and wear (such as surface crazing or use marks in the interior) that only enhance their vintage character. The smaller bowl has a very fine hairline crack (see listing photos closely) and remains perfect for mixing dry ingredients. The bottom of both bowls has a very faint RRPCo (Robinson Ransbottom Co) mark embossed into the pottery. Further evidence to us that they are an original pair.

SHIPPING
As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
