The print bears the original marks "Seymour delin t" and "Houston fecit" in the lower corners, authenticating its creation.

Published in the United Kingdom by Robert Clee in 1755 this print is a fine example of mezzotint, a process known for its rich tonal ranges and deep, velvety blacks. It captures the spirit and grandeur of the subject with exceptional detail.
