Antique Quadruple Plated Silver Bread Tray - National Silver Company

The maker's mark has worn off long ago on this tray and the embossing can no longer be read. Research led us to discover that this is a quadruple silver plated etched bread tray that was made by the National Silver Company who operated between 1890 to the late 1950s. This is one of their earlier designs and is approximated to be around the early 1900s in age. This tray is in good antique condition with lots of wear, tarnish and character. The metal work along the edge and the style of the "Bread" etching in the middle of the tray really drew us to this piece. The delicate and intricate design along the edge of this tray and the almost rudimentary style etching gives this tray so much character. A perfect piece for a vintage and antique styled kitchen. Quadruple plated silver also shines up really beautifully if that is the look you prefer. This could be used for serving or for display and would look absolutely stunning on open kitchen shelving. Functional antique and vintage items are our favorite finds.

SHIPPING
As much as possible, we utilize recycled shipping boxes. The box you receive your item in may show signs of wear and pre-use.
